The Mechanical Lead will lead all mechanical engineering activities for the project, ensuring successful design coordination, installation, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness of mechanical systems. The role requires strong leadership capabilities and extensive experience in critical facilities and data center environments. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering and construction activities across the project lifecycle.
• Manage mechanical contractors and ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
• Oversee HVAC systems, chilled water systems, and associated mechanical infrastructure.
• Coordinate testing and commissioning activities of all mechanical systems.
• Ensure smooth transition from construction to operations.
• Collaborate with electrical, ICT, controls, and facility teams to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Review engineering designs, technical submittals, and method statements.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks related to mechanical systems.
• Support project planning and resource allocation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Report project progress, issues, and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in MEP, critical facilities, or data center projects.
• Strong expertise in:
  • HVAC Systems
  • Chilled Water Systems
  • Testing & Commissioning
  • Mechanical Infrastructure
• Experience supporting projects through commissioning and operational handover.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
