Job Description

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting the PLC and control systems of the cyber rig to ensure safe and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot PLC, control, and automation systems.
• Monitor PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and control panels.
• Diagnose electrical and automation faults and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and system testing.
• Support rig commissioning, modifications, and system upgrades.
• Maintain backups, technical records, and maintenance reports.
• Ensure compliance with HSE procedures and client requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a PLC/Automation Technician, preferably on drilling rigs.
• Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, VFD, sensors, and industrial control systems.
• Experience with troubleshooting automated drilling equipment.
• Relevant technical qualifications and safety certifications.
• Ability to work rotational shifts in a remote rig-site environment.
