FMCG Experience 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to support our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with financial reporting, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong auditing background, hands-on accounting experience, and proficiency in financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly closing schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Support tax filings and statutory reporting requirements.
• Maintain financial data accuracy within ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and financial analysis.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of accounting and/or auditing experience.
• Previous auditing experience is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP ERP or similar accounting systems.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Understanding of IFRS and basic financial reporting principles.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
